Alice Austen House Museum — Radical Botany: The Politics of Flowers

Remsen Wolff is included in Radical Botany: The Politics of Flowers — the first U.S. museum exhibition to feature his work. Curated by Dr. Susan Bright and Hedy van Erp, the show brings together twelve artists who take flowers as their primary subject to address colonial history, immigration, sexism, racism, gender politics, homophobia, and class. Other exhibiting artists include Kara Walker, Pipilotti Rist, Linder, Wendy McMurdo, Justine Kurland, Tracey Morgan, Leonce Raphael Agbodjelou, Cristine Crebas, Laura Fields, Jeroen Jongeleen, and Dagmar van Weeghel.
