Wherever Remsen went, suffering from agoraphobia, armed with his camera he photographed people in public spaces. Five decades of street and travel work, Remsen Wolff has traveled extensively in the U.S. and Europe and Israel. Photographing men and women alone in public places. In the series Solo Appearances, and another multi-year project Scenes From a Made-Up Life he has photographed and assembled autobiographical and erotic still-lifes.
